irvinz Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Hey guys I'm a long time lurker here, and haven't posted in a looong time. I'm heading into Germany for a good 20 days or so, spending most of my time in frankfurt, a few days in munich and berlin. Will be hitting up amsterdam and prague as well. My last trip to frankfurt, i did not chance across any music stores in the city, and was wondering if anyone here is familiar with the areas? would love to try out some gear that i don't have access to in malaysia, specifically some of the moog minifoogers, warwick star basses, a deuesenberg bass. wouldn't mind being tempted by some more vintage gear as well. mostly to look at, don't think i would be able to afford any. so, anyone familiar with bass shopping in those neck of the woods? John Schoen Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 I have bought some stuff online from Session Musik in Frankfurt, the pictures on their site make it look like their shop is worth a visit: http://www.session.de/music/filialen/frankfurt/ There are no bass shops in Amsterdam; Edwin van Huik's Bass Connection is close and they have a lot of interesting and vintage stuff: http://www.connectionbult.com/wp/ Quote

BassTractor Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 In Munich, you might like to try ProMusicTools, though they are outside the city proper. http://www.promusictools.com/ Quote
rodney72a Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Station Music in Jettingen-Scheppach are great. About an hour from Munich by car. Excellent store, vast selection. http://www.station-music.de/ Quote
