Yes hats would be nice... I'll look into it. Reckon we can add a few things to the shop actually, including stickers.

I'll consider anything except a beret.

Look, it's simple, really. We even have a model all ready and waiting...

Here's the instructions ('borrowed' from Kerry Ann Simpson, at 'Knitting Paradise'...)...

-- I think I used size 10 U.S., 16" circular needles;
-- C/O a number divisible by 6, say 72 or 84 (depending upon size of head, yarn, etc. I think I cast on 78 or 84 for average man's size head. (So, place a marker after every 14th stitch for 84 stitches -- six sections around the circle).
-- Join yarn and start with a garter stitch, then switch to a st. st. after about an inch.
-- Change colors every few rows.
-- When the hat measures about 6" from the c/o row, decrease 6 stitches evenly every row until there are 6 stitches left (change to dps at about 36 sts.)
-- Cut yarn and weave end through last 6 stitches and tie off on wrong side.
-- Weave in ends. And, that's about it.

...which gives us this...

...so just get knitting, OK..?

Yes, you can sew a 'BC' patch on, when it's done.
Yes, you can change the colours (a little, not too much...).
Yes, it's good for metal, too.
Yes, it's fretless (well, has caused me no worries up to now, at least...).
Yes we can.
Yes, girls are allowed to knit/own/wear one, too.
Yes, Milty, you can use the colours of any flag you wish.
Yes; may be worn left-handed.

^ I like that Douglas. Mrs Skol is a keen knitter so I may hint at a Jaco hat for Xmas :D

Other than that... Put me down for a Basschat one! Great idea and I'm sure they'd be popular.

Yes, I hope they would come in sizes to accommodate people with..er...larger brains.
