1997 Warwick Pro m steamer five string for sale £[s]460[/s] price drop to[s] £430 [/s] now down to £400
Now sold
Maple body, wenge neck, gold coloured hardware some tarnish on tuners and bridge.
Currently strung E-C but I have made no changes to the nut (this is the old style brass a-just-nut) so can be restrung B-G. Previous owner replaced the warwick jack pug with a plate and plug which is more secure than my previous warwicks . Comes with a Warick gig bag.

Looking for a sale rather than a trade
thanks
Pete

Sale fell through so this is back up for grabs. I am willing to post at buyers expense but would prefer pick up from a mutually accessible meet.

controls are vol, pickup pan, bass cut/boost, treble cut/boost (concentric dual pot). Pull up vol pot for passive and only pickup pan and vol function. Owned mine since '97 still love it has a definte MM bite.

@ Bassulike I will have a look behind the jack plate tonight and report back on what I find.

Cheers

So whats under the plug plate....is it still possible to fit a barrel socket?

Why on earth would you want to do that? Awful things...

Lovely bass that!

Lovely bass, I'm really tempted.....would have to sell something else first to finance it, though.
Any chance of (safely) sending it to Germany? I used parcel2go and parcelforce a few times to ship basses over here and never had problems, but they were all packed in hardcases...

Hi Bagsieblue,

This is the one pre amp version.

As basulike66 was asking I have had a look under the jack plate and there is a neat drilled hole. This is larger than would allow a barrel jack to be reinstalled as is, it would need to be plugged and then re-drilled to a smaller diameter to refit a barrel jack should anyone want to go down that route.

I will try and get a pic up in a moment.

I'd like to know the same...and an answer to my questions about shipping would be nice, too.
Well, in fact I'd be happy to see any reaction at all...
