I am a huge Geezer fan and for some reason I am only just decided to learn Iron man now does anyone know what effect he uses on this I have Googled and found he used this Tychobrae wah pedal so is an old school item from what I have found on Google but I am sure there is some kind of O/D or fuzz used instead of a wah any ideas guys? :) cheers in advance

Years ago, there weren't any bass effects in the early days of sabbath. For example , nib was probably a Wah and fuzz box. Could be wrong tho' ;)
[/quote] That is kind of along the lines I was thinking of Ray I think I am going to have to experiment with this one might try some tube overdrive and tinker with my gain settings I'm a gonna nail this mother lol

I've got an old Laney Supergroup 100 valve head which I believe is what Geezer and Tony Iommi both used back in the day.min terms of distortion, this thing gives that tone naturally without any pedals in front of it. Great rock amp but no good for clean sounds if you want decent volume levels . . . .

That's just an amp turned up to breaking point! An overdrive pedal will get you there though. NIB has a wah - if you want the same pedal check out the Chicago Iron Parapedal or Wilson Freaker wah.
