ubassman Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Interestingly this was advertised in the Double Bass section of Ebay - I guess kind of true! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ian-Bottle-Guitars-Hand-Made-Double-Neck-Bass-Guitar-/141121225905?pt=UK_Musical_Instruments_Guitars_CV&hash=item20db7b04b1 Quote
Happy Jack Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 a simple one knob does nearly all and switches the sound from one neck to the other and also acts as a volume/tone switch A new definition of "simple", perhaps? Quote
Bassassin Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Excellent! If the fretless neck was 5-string & lined it would tick every personal prog box I can think of! Jon. Quote
gelfin Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Is this prog rock enough Quote
discreet Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 I've always like the idea of appearing with a doubleneck - for no good reason - but my P bass is more than heavy enough after two hours thanks very much. I'm assuming that a double weighs, er... double what a single would weigh? In which case I'd need to be stretchered off after about an hour and briskly rubbed down by young admirers with a bathroom scourer and baby oil. Quote

Phil Adams Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 AND it's Leo Fender who is the seller. Must be good then. Quote
