TheGreek
I think I've got about 12 albums by the Ozrics - Pungent Effulgent is a really easy place to start - I had Paper Monkeys on the CD player last week..great band...RIP Roly Wynn...great player.. Left Foot
ozric tentacles divide opinion but I think they are brilliant. Some earlier albums are repetitive but the others are inspired and unique.
RhysP
Ozric Tentacles supported my old band once donkeys years ago (late 80s).

miles'tone
Live Underslunky is my favourite. Roly was amazing but I do prefer Zia's live interpretations on this album. A bit faster and better for it imo. Soundtrack to my misspent youth, saw them live many times in the 90's. Cracking live band Played on the same bill as them at a festival in Cardiff about 6 years ago. They were down to playing as a 4 piece with Ed Wynne's wife on bass. She was pretty awesome too. gelfin
My kids used to dance to Pteranadon from Jurassic Shift when they were toddlers. Just love the Ozrics.
Dandelion
The Ozrics are fab. Roly was the best bass player, closely followed by Zia. The Wynnes Father designed the 1973 50 pence piece, the one with the interlinked hands. The hands include Ed;s and Roly's..

iconic
Forgot to add....from the film risky business! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gjPGmSqadxM&feature=youtube_gdata_player ....and tenuous connection....Vinny Shillito who played bass for the ozrics bought a Volvo 850 off me....spent 10 mins doing the deal and hours letting him noodle on my bass collection....very good player indeed.
