ead Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 Did anybody get to any of the UK dates last month? I sadly couldn't make it to the local ones. Quote

KevB Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 They do have a distinct sound (obvious Gong/Hillage influence) and some it sounds very samey after a while but when I'm in the mood there's plenty of good stuff to sift out. I first discovered them in a second hand record shop when there was a release of all the old (originally cassette only) stuff on separate Cd's as a box set 'vitamin enhanced' and I picked up all 6 volumes for next to nothing. The outer box had long gone but all the Cd's were in playable nick. Quote
phil.i.stein Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 (edited) Pungent Effulgent LP all the way !!! i clearly remember hearing it being played in a record shop in P'boro, and plucking up the courage to go to the counter and state "I NEED THIS NOW !!!" i wore out the vinyl copy, so bought another. then i bought the CD a few years later. Grassie Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 One of their former drummers (Stu Fisher) lives near me. He runs a recording studio down here with a friend of mine. Quote
