Gunsfreddy2003
Evening all, We decided to invest in a promo video to try and get some more function/wedding work for our disco/funk/soul band. Let me know what you think? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=agM2RGmfQtc Edited March 24, 2014 by icastle Link fixed.

xilddx
It's really good man! It might be a bit too 'clean' for my liking, I'd want to see a bit more filth, a bit more dirty funk. But that's nothing, it's a great performance, very high quality production in all respects. Great ladyvoice. Really impressive mate, and enjoyable. Dad3353
Good evening, Freddy (I hope that's right..?)... I'm not your target, and have renowned poor taste, so take this with a biggish pinch of salt. The playing..? Excellent; you can (all...) be proud. The video..? Nicely shot, decent angles, enough movement without becoming 'skittish'. Will it get you gigs..? I hope so, but if I was auditioning a band this way, I'd rather see a medley of songs; get a feel for the variety of the repertoire. Nowt wrong with the choice here (not my 'bag', but I'm old..!). I'd go for more promotion, too, instead of leaving the final credits to inform as to who you are and how to contact you. Original, using a percussionist; adds versatility. Nice move. What was the guitar..? It's Tele-based, but with a third 'Strat' p/u..? Sound good. A final word, about the fine singing, or rather, the vocalist's hands. It seems like a kind of 'tic', grabbing the mic like that. I'm not sure that all sound engis will take kindly to the 'finger noise' generated. A tiny detail; don't lose any sleep. Altogether fine work. I sincerely wish you success with that, you deserve it. Well done, all...
Gunsfreddy2003
Cheers for the comments guys. The idea is too embed on the home page of our new website so people can see what we look and sound like very quickly. We did think about doing a medley but it would have cost more and we were on a budget! If we get some work in then we can do it better next time!
