andyh Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 (edited) Trade Value : £1200 2012 Overwater hand built Scott Devine Signature up here. Will trade for a good Warwick 5 String 33 Inch Scale strung E to C. Bought for studio work, but hardly used nowadays. I did put this up a few months back but changed my mind to keep for a while, but now after building up my Warwick German built collection. Really interested in any Ltd Editions with Neck inlays etc. Pics here: Edited December 26, 2013 by andyh
playbass Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Is it the 16.5 or 18mm string spacing? Can you tell me about the electronics? Does it have passive tone control etc.? How much does it weight? Does it come with a case? Thanks for your help.
rmcki Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 How about a 2003 Thumb NT5? http://basschat.co.uk/topic/223000-fsft-warwick-thumb-nt5-2003/
andyh Posted November 27, 2013 Author Posted November 27, 2013 (edited) Bit more on this one. I have had this from new and is built with 16.5mm string spacing with John East Electronics u-Retro 5 knob deluxe active electronics http://www.east-uk.c...nob-deluxe.html Comes with original Overwater Embossed Hiscox Lite case with the blue lining (Supplied by Overwater) Weight is not specified, but Id guess at around 3.8Kg as it is pretty light compared with my other Warwicks. (Can confirm this with a quick call to Chris at Overwater who made it) Below is the original wood before it was transformed by magic :-) Edited November 27, 2013 by andyh
andyh Posted November 27, 2013 Author Posted November 27, 2013 If you have a 2003 Bleached Blond Thumb 4, please let me know.
flippyfloop Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 I had one of these made for me. Nearly choose the wood top you now have I sold mine because it was a little to heavy for me at 9.6 lbs / 4.3 kgs. If this is 3.8 kg, I'd be very interested.
andyh Posted December 2, 2013 Author Posted December 2, 2013 Hi I didn't really weigh the SD and I can't find a spec that includes weight so you are probably right at 4.3 kg
Ruairidh Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 BUMP. Could this bass be set up to be strung up B to G?
