White Cloud
Nice one" Beautiful bass...the replacement is even nicer looking than the first one. I have had my 1205 for 18 mths and is my no.1 gigging stalwart....
Woodinblack
I like that one a bit more. Not to say I would have turned down the first one, had they managed to get the neck right! Lovely basses, I always come back to my ibanezes (ibanii) after trying other things
JapanAxe
Gorgeous bass. Don't normally go for natural wood but this is splendid. +1 for GuitarGuitar - they replaced a dead TC amp for me within a week.

uncle psychosis
I really want to not like that. Natural wood finishes with burls and stuff just aren't my thing. But thats lovely! Good work.

[/quote]Yeah I often find 'coffee table' guitars and basses a bit much too, but this kind of works (well for me at least). Really looking forward to using it anger. ezbass
A quick update on the beast. All the setup has now settled down and it plays really, really well; it has that certain something that makes you pick it a lot, an intended quick noodle becomes a good session and not even feeling the need to plug it in. However, plugged in it really is the aforementioned beast, much louder and growly that the initial one. Could it be that I've found 'my' 5 stringer? Could be, but whatever happens down the road, right now I'm a very happy camper
Sean
I'm glad it's sorted. I had an SR five string top ender about 7 years ago that had issues (can't remember what exactly) and that was refunded and collected by the retailer with no hassle.
