Actually I may be also interested in 'modern' jazz basses with maple f'board, 4-string only: Sadowsky, Fodera NYC, Xotic and the like. Cash either way.

No idea but it is pretty lightweight - I'd be very surprised if it is over 4 kgs! Bear in mind the neck weighs nothing, so it all comes from the mahogany body. I can provide more exact measurements next week. Cheers

Seen something that I want, so bargain (only for as long as that is available) cash price of 1500£.

No other Zon Legacy Elite that I know of for sale in Europe, so grab it now or wait for years for another to come up!

Bump - will entertain offers. Forgot to mention the bass takes all tunings (including tenor/piccolo) exceptionally well.

Yep, and it's absolutely smooth - you can't feel the transition at all. the mahogany + walnut combo emphasize low mids, it cuts through the mix very well. I'm only selling because I really want another ACG, but I'll keep it as tenor or piccolo bass if it doesn't sell at this price.

Bump - thought I'd mention that I have a Kingbass and this is an absolutely different animal, despite the graphite... The Zon emphasises low-mids and it is clearer, the Status is more scooped.

I'd love this but broke at the mo - what I will say having owned and recorded with one back in the early 2000s and having had quite a few statuses is that the zon is far more versatile - you can get it to sound like a status (a status can only sound like a status), but you can also get a far greater range of sounds including traditional ones. GLWTS!
