My 12 Year old told me this morning she's taking a bass into school on Monday and has booked a rehearsal room (I don't remember having those at MY school) and she's recruited a guitarist, keyboard player & drummer.

She has three short scale basses: a Fender musicmaster and two Daisy Rocks, but wants to use my Peavey 5 string!

Awww that's great. I'm trying to get my girls into bass... but at 3 and 18 months it's hard to keep their interest in anything other than cbeebies for long!

Thats great. Both my daughters are playing music, and the eldest (14) has formed a band. She's playing my musicmaster bass. She'll be better than me before long.

I have three girls, Katy is 8, plays violin ( just passed her grade one ) and the obligatory recorder, she sings in the Royal Scottish National Orchestra Junior Chorus, Hannah is 6 also plays violin, recorder AND is learning piano too, and sings in the same choir as Katy, but she really wants to dance.....Lucy is 3, she just loves making noise. A bit like her Dad. Oh, shouldn't leave out Mum, who not surprisingly is a music teacher !!

Just turn up the bass on the eq, and indoctrinate those developing minds.
