One minute he's in some mode from outer space and the next he's blues scale and it all just seems to gel and work. Great fluidity and a serious command of the fretboard. Lovely playing, but no doubt there'll be a further 70 posts explaining where he's going wrong Looks like he's playing a Squier too. Mine doesn't sound like that!! I get the Eric Johnson reference as well - not so sure about it myself but I can certainly see why people are making the connection. You talk about the composition having some items lacking - but I wondered if part of that isn't in the nature of such. They tend to cover certain ground, and maybe don't cater for all tastes. Wonder if he has more vids - wouldn't mind seeing him try something else with a bit more soul to it, if you get me. Quote
