Annoying Twit Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 (edited) I was initially surprised when I saw this as I thought that Status basses were quite expensive. But searching on here, there seems to be a Status Groove 5 string that is being sold and resold (if it's the same one) on BC for about £280. However, I'll post this link just in case £200 is still a notable bargain. http://www.ebay.co.u...=item3cd94d661e The seller says 'No Reserve', but it's a "Buy it now". They may be confused a bit. Edit: Sold prices for a Status Groove on ebay are £300 and £419. But, those looked to be in better nick and had the original hard case, while this one is being shipped in a broken Hiscox case. Edited December 1, 2013 by Annoying Twit Quote
lowregisterhead Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 They're OK basses, not Status's finest hour though. Nice enough to play, but a pretty gutless sound IIRC, and certainly not the 'Status sound' if that's your thing. I suppose there might be reinforcement bars in the neck, but otherwise there's not a scrap of graphite in them. Cheap enough though. Who am I kidding, it's horrible!! Quote
lowregisterhead Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Also, why is picture no. 2 of a 4-string bass?? Quote
lowregisterhead Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 (edited) Gone. Obviously didn't bother someone. Still a bargain! Edited December 1, 2013 by lowregisterhead Quote
