Dingus Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 It's an Ibanez Musician Bass in Polar White , the model from the era of these basses between 1982 and 1986. Quote

Clarky Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 (edited) I think BC'er Jigster has one of these. See here from a gig with his band Those Among Us Are Wolves (very good post-rock band, check them out) [attachment=149637:1075500_506387976096036_259004422_o.jpg] Edited December 1, 2013 by Clarky Quote
Dingus Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 These were lovely basses. I had one at the time , and it sounded epic. For years before I got one , they were one of the basses I really longed for . They weighed a lot, but no one was bothered by that back in those days, from what I remember. Quote

They were superb instruments at sensible prices, looking back now. Edited December 1, 2013 by Dingus Quote
Gust0o Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 That's me wrong, then - I thought John Birch, too Quote
LeftyJ Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 The whole band is playing Ibanez in that video They probably had an endorsement. Quote
Dom in Dorset Posted December 2, 2013 Author Posted December 2, 2013 (edited) I never had Slade down as an Ibanez sort of band, well fancy that. Edited December 2, 2013 by Dom in Somerset Quote
Pinball Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 When was that Video shot then? The original must have come out in the mid seventies? Quote
Dom in Dorset Posted December 2, 2013 Author Posted December 2, 2013 They used to re-release it every year, looks 1980's to me. As far as I am concerned Christmas doesn't start until I hear it. Quote
