Epifani UL502 volume loss at high volumes

Hi there,

Could anyone share any light on the following observation?

My Epifani UL502 sometimes loses volume and intensity when I'm playing loud on a gig. It tends to be near the end of a number in the middle of a set, but doesn't last that long, and I turn the amp down a little and it sorts itself out after maybe 20 seconds.

I have the gain at a good level but not clipping, and I never need to have the master volume more than about 10 o'clock, as these amps are really loud!

I use it with an Epifani UL212 4 ohm cab.

This problem has only had a couple of times but I want to know if there is a fault with it, or am I triggering a protection circuit of some sort? I can't believe I'm playing too loud, as it seems to have more volume to come if I wanted...

Also, where would you go to get it serviced in London?

It was a slightly loose connection in a speakon lead... oops!
