rushers
Everytime I turn my amp head on I get this horrendous hissing, some days I'll turn it on and I won't get any kind of noise. the volume of the noise is dependant on the volume of the gain. The fequency of the hissing sometimes changes too which makes me think it could be some kind of interference, anyway, I have no idea what's going on. Have a look at the video below for what happens and if you have any suggestions I'd love to hear them. http://youtu.be/NFQ0FaCLY7o Cheers! brensabre79
Is it a Shuttle? I had a Shuttle 6.0 with this problem, although the hiss was the same volume regardless of the controls. Replacing the valve (or even just re-seating the existing one) should fix it. Assuming it's the same or similar fault to the one I had of course (I had two Shuttles with this problem before I gave up with them and bought a Carvin for half the money). bertbass
You got a valve in there? If so, try another one and see if the noise goes away.
Ghost_Bass
Check the valve, probably it's time to replace it.
