I can never get on with 'tone' knobs myself always prefer at least a 2 band EQ. but that vid seems to have a loads of bottom, more than enough for me atleast.

There was also a fair amount of low end coming from the Compacts ports that wasn't getting picked up by the mic. The BDPG has a ton of low-end on the tone knob too.
I preferably wanted to record the audio into Logic, but I've misplaced the adapter for my interface, so had to make do with the USB cardioid
