PB62-58. 1993-94 build

Selling my CIJ Fender PB62-58

I bought it in from Japan about 18 months ago as I always fancied a P bass, but wanted a neck that was a bit slimmer than a US Standard. It's not quite as slim as a Jazz neck, but it's not far off.

Now I'm off-loading all my 4 strings as I'm really just a 5 string player.

The Photo is from the Japanese dealer so I'll take some more this evening

MODIFICATION: The stock pickup was lacking, so it now has a Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder in it. I don't think I have the original one anymore, but if I find it you can have it.

It's in great condition with 1 exception - the tone knob diamond pattern grip is a bit scratched up - almost like at some point some eijit had gripped it hard with pliers!

Other than that it's tip top and is strung with Chromes that have nicely bedded in. It's only been 'gigged' with an Orchestra.

It's only got a soft bag so I'd prefer collection / meet up. The bass is in Northants near J16 on the M1.

Not really looking for trades as I'm culling the herd and hoping to end up with a pair of Marleaux 5 strings.

Very nice. I have a 1995 Japanese P and weirdly enough, my tone and volume pots were all scratched up as you describe!!
