Hamster
The new neck doesn't look as though it has got a deep orange stain as the usual SX necks - or is it the light? Hamster

Hamster[/quote] No, your correct. Its not the deep orange of the other models. Its a pale maple with a clear varnish. Inlays are real too, not painted. stingrayfan
Keep finding myself looking at the Rondo website... Only a few clicks and the postman could bring me something I don't need, but quite like the look of! You coming to SE Bash with any of your SXs? Wouldn't mind a blast on one... dmz
Great stuff Neil, Didn't this model come with the "high mass bridge" ? I love the Badass II on my P-bass - so I can imagine what it will do to the sound of your Jazz - a good bit more snap and funk - with more clearly defined notes and the harmonics should be more easy to achieve and more defined too. I fancy the fiesta red P-bass with the PJ set up -from Rondo - get some Di-Marzios or Wizards in there - a tort pick-guard and you're off ! Did you stick in any new pick-ups ? - I can recommend DiMarzio Ultrajazz - look 'em up on Harmony Central for reviews. Cheers Bill
