Confirm wiring makes sense - Installing Basslines STC-2C-BO Tone circuit to P/J bass

Hello!

I have a quick question here regarding the installation of a 2-band EQ tone circuit in a P/J style bass with active pickups. (Unknown brand)
I've drawn up a wiring diagram. Could someone confirm whether or not this should be okay? I'm in need of a second opinion before I get stuck into this.

First of all, it's a P/J style pickup configuration, housed in a precision body. The pickups are old and unbranded. Each have 3 wires coming out - Red, Blue and bare wire.

There will only be one volume pot and one concentric treble/bass tone pot (with the EQ circuit board on the rear). There is a 3-way mini DPDT switch for the player to flick from neck, neck-bridge and bridge outputs.

With these instructions in mind - should this be okay?

You've put the volume control after the pre-amp, whereas the instructions have the pre-amp output going straight to the output jack.

Do you reckon it'll still work, the way I've drawn it here?

I could take the centre from the switch to the volume pot input, the volume pot output to the preamp input then the preamp output to the jack.
Just curious if there would be any differences with it either method

Yes, but you'd need something like a 25 or 50 Ohm pot rather than a 250 or 500.
