Black Coffee Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 (edited) Here is my fender jaguar bass. 4string. Can't change the 300 quid. It's only a few weeks old and since the arrival of a couple of others it isn't getting played so someone else might as well have it. These were £ 364 new and that's a big reduction on what they were, and it's in immaculate condition. If you want a pic just email me and I will forward you one as the uploader isn't playing nice tonight. Will try again tomorrow. It's the black / maple colour. This is a lot of bass for the money and sound wise punches above its weight. Didn't come with case or bag but I will include a gig bag with it. Thanks for looking. Black Coffee Posted December 8, 2013 Author Posted December 8, 2013 Crafted in china. Easily as good a bass as any mex. I was very skeptical but its a lot of quality bass for the money.
Kev Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 Will the shop not take it back? Best bet for you if it is only a few weeks old?
Prime_BASS Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 Is this the squier ? Fender one is MIJ and has no maple neck option.

thebassist Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 (edited) Yes if it's only a few weeks old, why don't you take it back for a refund? Edited December 9, 2013 by thebassist
Black Coffee Posted December 9, 2013 Author Posted December 9, 2013 (edited) Refund ain't an option unfortunately. It's the modern player CIC. Pics added Edited December 9, 2013 by bassman344
Paul S Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 Inevitable question from me - are you able to weight this, please?
Black Coffee Posted December 9, 2013 Author Posted December 9, 2013 Er.....I don't actually have a set of scales. I've just checked the fender site and it doesn't have anything about It. Safe to say it ain't heavy - IMO. Now that I remember. Leave it with me and I will see if the kitchen scales are still here........
Black Coffee Posted December 9, 2013 Author Posted December 9, 2013 Just used kitchen scales to weigh it. Bear in mind the most they usually weigh is pasta. It is weighing in at 9.2 pounds, just over 4kg. Ok ?
Paul S Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 Thanks for that. A little too heavy, especially as I would stick a preamp in it and make it heavier. But oh, so tempting. I had a Jaguar a few years back and I think these are actually nicer! Someone should snap it up!
Black Coffee Posted December 9, 2013 Author Posted December 9, 2013 Yep, loadsa pasta dude. My youngest son would live on garlic bread and pasta alone if I would let him. Have to ration the little guy. . . . .
