JJJack
Just joined after sneaking an occasional look at BC from time to time. Firstly my life in basses. Got my first bass nearly 30 years ago (Jedson short scale: truly awful) . then a Westone thunder 1A, natural finish. Quite playable as I remember but had the habit of breaking the little toggle switch off a few times! next '71 or '72 sunburst precision, been round the block a bit but great, chunky neck. Normal mods done on it: badass II and J bass pickup fitted (regret that mod now). next 1983 Jazz bass standard in ivory. It had EMGs fitted and a badass fitted when I got it and someone had put a metal control plate on it replacing the one piece scratch plate. Next, EB MM Stingray HH trans red MN 2006, lovely, Next EB MM Stingray 2 eq black MN 1988, lovelier! next EB MM stingray 3 eq trans red 2000 MN, lovely Finally, modulus FU metallic silver, seymour Duncan NSA aguilar, great. Basically after going slightly bonkers recently even I have to admit that I have too many and seriously need to contemplate the one in one out rule! Amps: Rubbish no name combo Big Peavey wardrobe 120w gk 200mb owned since 1987, a solid and small companion. started playing with the intention of playing in punk band with schoolmates. This turned into covers band for a few years, singer was big Cure, Bowie fan. After a very long period of dormancy and little or no advancement I started jamming with mates a bit and had a few lessons. Also looked at Scott's bass lessons website which looks good. This sort of thing has fired my enthusiasm. I may only ever be a learner and perhaps an all the gear but still no idea type of person, but bass is great and a good one is a piece of art. All the best jack

alyctes
Very few of us would claim we haven't anything to learn Welcome aboard. But I recommend you stay out of the For Sale section, especially since you seem to have priors
