Rhythm/Drums/Loops/Samples to link to a Korg Microsynth XL+?

Hi all

Any ideas on the best overall rhythm/drum/loops/samples unit I can use live and for recording for my Microsynth XL+?

The Kaoss Pad's look a little over the top...I don't need synths I just needs the above! Unless the Kaoss pads are really good!

I am also looking at the best way to record, (eg the best audio interface between £100 and £200).
