RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE
Is it the whammy 2? Tbh, an app should've been done , which would kill the curiosity .
Jonny Walker
A bass whammy... :-P
thisnameistaken
The Line 6 M series pedals have a better pitch shifter than the Whammy, and can be set to any heel/toe intervals you like from -2 to +2 octaves.
stoo
The whammy 2 was the one that looked most like the bass whammy, but the bass one had presets that didn't make it onto any of the guitar oriented models as far as I know. I've got a whammy 2 in my drawer at home - seemed to work OK on bass when I gave it a quick trial, but it was always a bit glitchy with a guitar, and even more so with bass... My sloppy playing probably has a lot to do with it too!
phil.i.stein
have a look at the Boss PS-5 or 6 too. i found i preferred mine to my Whammy 4, and being 1/4 of the size made it even better.
Lowender
A whammy works on higher frequencies, on a bass you can just slide.
cheddatom
XP-100 has the same harmony pre-sets, but yeh, there are better pedals out there now
