Mosrite Ventures Bass. 1971/72. Rare beastie. **SOLD** £1195

Sadly I am selling the last two of my 3 Mosrite basses. I sold the first on here a few months back to a guy in a surf band, so perfect placement for that Ventures look, & will list the 3rd one in rare CAR more like a coral really finish later.

This one has a serial of B0261, they are notoriously difficult to date but very early 70's is pretty accurate.

Plays superbly and has a huge palette of sounds.

Has age related lacquer crazing front and back, some buckle rash to the rear, some small dings to the head and a couple to the neck volute. All electrics work as they should and are un molested.

What are the nut widths on these, and what woods is it built out of?

Approx 41mm as to the wood I have no idea but not too heavy at 10.1 lbs the CAR one weighs 9.3 lbs
