[SOLD] Fender CIJ PB62-US '62 Reissue Precision
£575

Up for the chop is my Japanese Fender '62-US Reissue. I bought this as a backup for my US Precision, but since then I've bought a Lakland which has taken over the CIJ's spot. As I'm looking at moving house some point next year, I need to thin the herd!

The bass is about 4 years old. It's had a little bit of work done:

Pots have been changed to CTS, with wiring changed to cloth - to make it a re-issue internally as well as externally

Tuners have been replaced for reverse style Gotohs, again to be period correct (stock ones were normal)
I can't remember if the guy I bought it from (Bassman Steve on here) replaced the pickguard with one built by the The Bass Doc - I'll try and find that out.

It's been played a lot before I took hold of it, so there's a few dings & scratches - I've tried to capture them all in the pics. There are some very light scratches on the front of the bass - pointed them out with the arrows.

Also, two of the tuning pegs are slightly bent at the elephant ear part - this does not affect the ability to tune, or for the instrument to stay in tune. They could probably be bent back to straight, but it didn't bother me so I didn't bother with it!

It's a lovely bass, and needs to be played... But it's just not with me I'm afraid :( It's currently strung with Rotosound Tru Bass black nylon strings, I can throw in a set of stainless roundwounds too - not used, but taken off another Japanese bass when it arrived.
