Are these the Gotoh manufactured ones and do they have the little lugs on the reverse face which means they won't sit flush
with the back of the headstock without a little bit of woodworking?

They're the Fender manufactured ones (or at least they came in Fender packaging) and they won't sit flush unless the small extra holes are bored. These are the ones that come on American Vintage basses.
