mikebass84
Slight emergency. I have a gig on the 21st December and my power supply cable has a nice big slice in it and it no longer works. Where is the best/cheapest/quickest place to get a new supply? Thanks in advance Mike
HowieBass
I've had a look online for something that might work for you - I've got the same Zoom unit and though my AC adaptor is working fine it's worthwhile knowing where to get a replacement from (just in case... ) - there are loads of different units that seem to supply the right voltage and current but it's getting the right size connector - you might try giving a company called Power Adaptors a ring (0800 756 9963) to check if this might work for you http://www.power-adapters.co.uk/12V-Mains-Power-Supply-Adaptor-Quality-Charger-ACDC-for-Technika-154830-LCD-TV-3a-36w Good luck! lefrash
I lost mine and used a 12v adapter from a TV set. It worked but produced lots of weird nooises. I bought this one from maplin and its perfectly quiet. I boaked at the price, but came to the conclusion that since it worked then its worth it. http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/maplin-36w-switched-mode-acdc-fixed-voltage-12v-power-supply-n22ju
lefrash
im sure there is other ones that would do the job, but i was in desperate need of one, and im glad I did. This one screws nicely underneath my pedal board nice and tidely away.

mikebass84
Found this on the Maplin site. Would need a mains adapter to make it work but looks like the right thing http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/12v-universal-dc-power-supply-3a-with-6-power-tips-a92jh
mikebass84
Went for the £28 one lefrash recommended. Don't want to run the risk of online ordering this close to the gig
