Genz Streamliner 900 - 2ohms?

Hi all,

I have found a lushious tone using my Streamliner 900 with an aguilar tone hammer preamp pedal running through my gb neox 212t cab - I am running the pedal through the input of the amp rather than the preamp in on the back as it sounds so much nicer (imo). I have 2 of these cabs however the streamliner runs a min of 4ohms meaning I'm unable to use the cabs together. I also have a crown power amp (which can run at 2ohms) however I cannot get the same tone through it. Is there another solution? Basically I want a streamliner or something very similar that can run 2 x 4 ohm cabs.
Sorry if this sounds like I'm talking s**t!
Thanks in advance
Freddie

Is there any real benefit going this route? At 8 ohms, the Amp offers up around 500 watts, so 250 per cab. It seems a lot of gear to carry for what would be a negligible(?) up lift in volume - although I guess you'd havunie much mire solid lows.(?)

Have you tried slaving your power Amp from your streamliner at all as a possible solution?
