ELP Fanfare for common man with gtr doing the keys part (effects required) This could make for an interesting challenge.

Another option is that someone else takes over the vox for a song ??

Gosh - Into The Arena. Bass playing equivalent of a tongue twister. My old band tried that for a while - I could play it right at 95% speed or get in a muddle at 100%! Did it better than the rhythm guitarist, though.

Used to do this in a band I was in, great fun to play but it could get a bit frantic if we weren't careful.

Also did an instrumental version of Little Wing by Hendrix which went down well enough.
