mudmover
Christmas is nearing and my beauty is 12 months old so I feel she should be shod with a new set of strings..... What would you recommend.....I love the musicman sound if the helps...the JB never gets looked at anymore...... An ideal pressie would be a left hooker classic 4 in honeyburst
discreet
DR Fat Beams? They sound like the lower strings of a piano with a pick. Edited December 16, 2013 by discreet

[/quote] Well it's not compulsory... I went for 45-100. mcnach
I really like the Ernie Ball strings on my Stingray, 45-65-80-100. But DR Fat Beams are great too, good suggestion! Very authoritative low end. If you want more prominent mids, more presence, you may want to try the Ernie Ball Cobalts.
