woodyratm
I've bought an Alesis one. testing it tonight.... It was 65 quid (and apparently digital!)
LiamPodmore
Depends what you class as silly money. The Line 6 Relay G30 is little over £200 now, even cheaper if you can find one used on here, or wait for post-christmas sales. Liam
BruceBass3901
The Line6 G series wireless are great units. Worth paying for the quality with a wireless system as it is less likely to be plagued by the usual interference ascociated with wireless gear. Also, some of the cheaper ones are no longer legal (of course these are not likely to be available from shops) as the laws on which bands can be broadcast / transmitted on changed in the last couple of years
EBS_freak
Check this thread- http://basschat.co.uk/topic/214429-wireless-systems-for-bass/ It's great that more and more units are beginning to appear. I noticed the Alesis one - not crazy on the pack and cable configuration but for that money, if it works, that's a great system. I wouldn't want to venture far from the receiver but in terms of just getting a cable out of the way, it's got to be a winner. I know cables that have cost more than that Alesis unit! Would be great to hear feedback on the Alesis kit.
mcnach
Line6 G30, without hesitation.

The cables annoyed me, but as you said. - 65 is not bad. Gets one cable away from my feet at least!
Prime_BASS
I have the Sony dwz thing and its a cracking piece of kit a bit expensive but the wireless sound is so much clearer and more present, I love it.
Guest FretNoMore
One more vote for Line 6 G30.
RandomBass
I've been using the Sennheiser Freeport for about 3 years now - no problems at all, no interference or loss of sound quality, and dead simple to use. I've only needed to replace the transmitter aerial after I stupidly slammed shut my aluminium bits-and-bobs case with antenna sticking out. Silly me.
