ern500evo Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 It says total rackable depth 14.5", just measure your amp from front to back. I had the standard one which is about 16-17" and it used to house a Warwick Tubepath head, with the chrome grab bars on the front, easily. Quote

Would there be enough ventilation to use the amp in situ, opening front and back of the case? My other concern would it be overheating? Quote
ern500evo Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 I imagine it would be ok, as I said mine was a 4u and all I had in it was a 2u head and a 1u tuner which was very shallow so there was quite a bit of space inside the rack. Having said that I've seen plenty of local players using 2u amp heads in 2u rack cases so I imagine it'd be fine. As for the chrome bars, going by the measurements the lids are 1.5" in depth so you should have no issue there. Quote
