wombatboter Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 A bit late but just want to say thank you for the tip...what an amazing book and the attention for the details and the background is stunning. Lots of things I didn' know and the ten years of research sure paid of. Quote
JTUK Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 I knew a past member of that period and would be VERY interested in what he has to say...if, indeed he is actually in the book. Quote
wombatboter Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 (edited) What struck me most is how certain songs could wait for years until they finally got finished...Songs which appeared on certain albums were already written ten years before. Changed my opinion about certain periods I thought he'd "lost" it..(although "Press to play" remains dreadful) Edited April 22, 2014 by wombatboter Quote
cytania Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Very impressed with last years 'New', so much so I got it on CD, cool bass on clever tracks like 'Appreciate' and 'Road', there's a hidden track too. Quote
