There has been a bit of a hoo-ha regarding the wanted thread. One of the mods will clarify at the moment you cannot reply in the items wanted thread.
However mb1 did send me a pm regarding my request for some tartan paint

I have stripy paint, maybe you could go left to right with one coat, and up and down with the next, that may give a kind of tartan effect .
