MB LM11 Tech question

Can u plug 2 basses into the head at the same time? ie: 1 in the jack and the other in the xlr, and then switch between basses, without the need to unplug? and is that bad for the amps innards?

Also if the amp goes down on 1 of the inputs does the other still work? just wondering if I need to buy a back up head if all goes pear shaped 1 night.

I do it all the time- have done for over a year-since I got the LMII. DBL bass into the XLR & elec bass into the jack...... as long as U don't play BOTH at same time U R good to go. AFAIK it's what it's designed to do!

It's not a stereo amp, so if the power section blows (which is far more likely than only half of the pre-amp failing) then it certainly won't work, so in that respect, yes you would still need a back up, like pretty much all other bass amps.
