Lord Sausage Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 All i can say is WTF and where do the strings come from!? Quote
Clarky Posted December 18, 2013 Author Posted December 18, 2013 I assume they are double bass strings Quote
Beer of the Bass Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 I reckon the mystery strap button will be behind the 7th fret-line, as a sort of tactile marker to double bassists who are used to the heel being there. It certainly appears to have double bass scale length and strings. I think somebody couldn't afford a Framus Triumph and had a go at making their own. Quote
BetaFunk Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Just be grateful that it hasn't been relic'd. Quote

ubassman Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 I imagine that it would be a real buzz to play this there being no truss rod ! Quote
tauzero Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013
Half fretted. Half fretless.
All fretless - those huge great things are inlaid lines. Built by someone with no sense of aesthetics or pitch. Quote
yorks5stringer Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 Inlays are not straight either.... Quote
