If they are in Leicester then it's a long way to go to Massachusetts for a church service and i'd hardly call it local.

There are also taking a bit of a hit on the price because it went for nearly £1700 on ebay last month.

Aha. This is why I'm always turned off gumtree ads that don't have a map location!

Seems to me this getting common on gumtree/ preloved.

In the last 3 months I nearly bought a caravan, long story, but it turned out to be similar story to this. Also won a bass on eBay and the next day a like for like scam ad for the same bass appeared on gumtree. The giveaway is its always a massive bargain, ie its too good to be true. Saying that the bass was under £300 so not huge sums of money.
