Alfie
My wife has bought me a bass big muff. There is also a pedal shaped box under the tree from my dad that has the reassuring weight of a Maxon VOP9.
lefrash
I bought woodyratm's Frederics green russian Fuzz, and managed to squeeze a collection in before the depot closed tonight! So does that count? Although I bought it for myself, he did wrap it up nicely for me! an xmas fuzz!

Damonjames
Sadly, not for me this year. Although I'm getting a gator rack for my brand new GK rb1000ii head that my Mrs let me buy last month, so I can't complain! Ill catch up on some pedals in the new year, rest assured as I have a bad case of GAS right now. I did pick up a set of new old stock russian transistors for a big muff clone I'm planning on building if that counts?

Jonnyboy Rotten
For my first foray into bass effects I am getting a Vox Stomplab IIB. You should have seen the horrified/amused/incredulous expression on Mrs Rotten's face when I said "its the one with the 'chicken head knobs'"
BigBassBob
I received an Iron Ether Sub-T on Monday and I just got a pretty sweet pile of goodies for Christmas
Sibob
So yes, my lovely gf ordered me a custom Fuzzrocious Dark Driving from Ryan :-D. It's still being painted I think, so will be delivered when it's done and built. Until then, she wrapped a self-made mock-up Si

GazWills
Pretty chuffed with my haul this year, though not going to be able to try the Diabolik until Friday at the earliest
BigBassBob
Nice! I really do love me some Twin Peaks I got a handful of other comics too but my friends who are more versed in the world of comics told me I needed to read Killing Joke Hope the Diabolik is what you're looking for! GazWills
cheers - it was a tough call to pick between the Diabolik, You're Doom and the Darkglass one... fingers crossed I picked the right one, but I was very tempted by the Doom!! Kev
How is You're Doom? About the only new pedal that is tempting me at the moment! I trust Taylor has solved the SubT bleed issue now?
dave_bass5
I got a Zoom 60b from my other half. It was something I've been meaning to buy for a while now so well pleased (although not a total surprise). Can't wait to test it out at the next gig. Although I've already got a B3 I don't tend to use that for gigs, I don't like the foot switch spacing. Hoping the 60b works out better. I really only need the BDDI and chorus sims so I'm sure it will.
danbowskill
got some cleartone strings and a cheepo NUX phaser ( don't need a fancy 1 for the amount I use it) ......... and you know what, it sounds fantastic :-) better than past ones I have had mxr etc
I'm enjoying it quite a bit https://soundcloud.com/bigbassbob/youre-doom-starlight The Sub-T bleed issue is gone but I think I'm a little underwhelmed by the pedal overall. It's a cool little box but not quite for me. Edited December 26, 2013 by BigBassBob
Kev
Nice tone you got there! I felt the same about the SubT, and mine was probably the first in the UK and had the bleed issue, It did sound good with the Xerograph Dlx, but not really with anything else.I think Taylor should bring out a pedal utilising both of those circuits, as the SubT seems a little specialist alone. BigBassBob
I think my main beef with the Subterranea is that it reacts differently to different basses. That's fine for most pedals, and quite expected but the difference between different basses is too inconsistent; with my P bass everything tracks pretty well down to the D above middle C. On my Stingray the octave tracks quite clean down to about G but the synth voices bottom on the D and G strings =\ I recorded better sounding clip of Higher Ground with similar settings but Soundcloud kept removing it so here's the next best thing: https://soundcloud.com/bigbassbob/youre-doom-superstition
