Super Bass Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 (edited) Here's a new Jazz that was put together for me recently. The spec is; * B. Hefner 60's spec alder "Jazz Bass" body finished in Nitrocellulose Sherwood Metallic Green. * Mighty Mite birdsye maple Jazz Bass neck. * Delano JMVC 4 FE Pickups (hum-cancelling) * Audere JZ-3 Preamp * Leo Quan Badass II bridge * Bone nut * Hipshot Ultralite tuners * LaBella 760N nylon tapewound strings It's very nice to play, and a welcome addition to the gang. lee4 Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Most tasty!Must buy you a pint in Dawsons next time I'm over, spike your drink, and make off with your bass! Quote
Machines Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 At first I thought it'd look nice with a white perloid pickguard - but sod that. Leave it as is because you don't see enough pickguardless Jazzes . Quote
Lfalex v1.1 Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 Wicked! Liking the Delanos! 4 pole-pieces always looks better than 8 on s/c jazz pick-ups IMHO. (Says the man with 8-pole units in all his Jazzes!) Good colour choice, and I love the "no pickguard screw-holes" look... Quote
Super Bass Posted July 1, 2008 Author Posted July 1, 2008 Thanks! The Delano's are something else, sound amazing. I was gonna put a black pickguard on it at the start but then decided not to, the paint just looks so f***in' cool! Quote
