ash Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 Ha ha ha! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/fender-1960-jazz-bass-/121239813509?pt=UK_Musical_Instruments_Guitars_CV&hash=item1c3a74bd85 Quote
Grangur Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 In fairness the wording is a bit "cart before the horse" and could be mis-read to give the idea that it's a genuine Fender. That said, is it really like the Fenders of the 60s? Quote

Joeyfivebags Posted December 29, 2013 Posted December 29, 2013 No idea what knobes are billy but apparently they are "stacked" so they must have been going to the gym. Quote
ubassman Posted December 29, 2013 Posted December 29, 2013 (edited) They be the OB1 type of K'nobes I think ? Edited December 29, 2013 by ubassman Quote
Bassassin Posted December 29, 2013 Posted December 29, 2013 Rubbish listing which he's asking to get pulled if he doesn't change the title, and the price (now relisted at £250) is still loonytunes. The bass itself is a total refurb and looks like the body, neck & tuners are the only original bits. It's been stripped & refinished (bad idea considering how many unmatching offcuts it's made from), new Wilkinson bridge, pickups & scratchplate look new and that stack-knobe control panel will have likely cost more than the bass is worth. I don't think the Gibson-style trc is original, either. Jon. Quote
