Selling a Squier CV James Johnston model jazz that I have modified. It's a stunning bass, sounds amazing. Exact same model as the white 60's classic vibe model.

I have added a set of Mojo pre CBS 62' jazz bass pickups (white covers) with lovely wired harness (cloth wires, CTS pots etc - £130) + [s]a real Badass II bridge fitted[/s] I have now removed this to lower the selling price and fitted the original one. It's also has a tort pickguard.

It has 2 small chips as you can see from the pictures.

Pricing this is hard as there is only so much you can recoup from mod'in a cheaper bass, basically looking for someone who would carry out these upgrades or could use the bits. These are £379 new (http://www.gak.co.uk...CFSbHtAodiVQAUQ),

I am after [s]SOLD PENDING [/s] for this one with the mods. Also comes with a padded gig bag.

It hands down nails most other jazz basses I have tried US, MIJ etc. The neck is fantastic on the CV basses.

Bass is in Glasgow if you fancy a test drive. Have a box for posting.

Cheers.

I've just made a new scratchplate for a friends Squier Bass VI and fitted some Mojo lipstick pickups for him. The Mojo's were really well made quality pickups with a lovely natural tone. Have a bump on me for a very nicely upgraded bass.
