Annoying Twit
I'm not sure how much these are worth, but post in case this is a bargain. Aren't the TRB 4II's made in Japan and much more expensive than this when they were new? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Yamaha-TRB-II-4-string-bass-guitar-/221344929857?pt=UK_Musical_Instruments_Guitars_CV&hash=item33892f9841
steve-bbb
something about the dulling machine heads and the bridge is ringing alarm bells for me on this one - ive seen similar and older yammys with much better condition hardware
tonybassplayer
I have one of these but in the amber type of colour. Fabulous bass but always seem to sell at bargain prices when used.
Annoying Twit
I have one of these but in the amber type of colour. Fabulous bass but always seem to sell at bargain prices when used.
A number of Yamahas seem to have poor resale values making them bargains. RBX374s going for considerably less than £100 etc. What would you say is the going market price for one in the same condition as this one? geilerbass
The TRB II range were made in Japan, but retailed around 500 - 700 quid, from what i remember. They are very nice instruments and great value. The TRB P range retailed for a lot more, though like most MIJ basses from the 90s, sell for a lot less than their quality would suggest. Annoying Twit
The Ibanez SR760 seems to be an example of a 90s MIJ that sells for less than I would have expected. But, I haven't played one, and I don't know what the quality is. They're reputed to be made by Fujigen, so I'd expect first rate quality.
