Firstly, happy new year :) .

I have a 3TB P bass copy that's currently wearing a tort scratchplate, the one in my avatar.

I'm thinking of putting a black plate on it but I'm not sure whether to get B/W/B 3 ply or just a black single ply.

Rather than go searching for pictures I'm being lazy and asking if you could post up your pictures of a 3TB P with black plates. I know you all love posting pictures of your basses and I love seeing them B) .

Thank you.

Ah it never gets old that does it Noel Coward?

Unfortunately the first I don't know how many rows of pictures on there are all BWB so not much use, never mind eh, the thought was there ;) .

So anyone else got some pictures of plain black or BWB plates on their P?

I haven't got a P, but my Jazz bass has a black pickguard (see display picture). I just spray painted it matt black. I prefer it to the original white!

Hope that helps, I'm new here, don't know how to post pictures directly into my comment!

BWB is right I think if you want early 70s

Look for Gary macs sale thread - he's selling a mint one

I can't see the avatar too well on my iPhone but that looks like very nice tort

MY Squier VM PJ with a BWB plate on.

IMO this is the best for a 3TSB, i dont like Tort unless its on a white Jazz. so i was over the moon that this came as standard.
