malpasso Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Hi, everyone!! I'm considering the purchase of a couple of Phil Jones c4 to optimise portability and weight for my rig. I own a Berg ht-112-er+EX-112-ER and I wonder if I wouldn't be sacrificing too much volume and low end... Is it a crazy occurrence on mine? Thanks for your imput! Quote

[/quote] I own a couple of C4 cabs used with a PJB D600 - what an awesome sound. Standing near the cabs you just don't appreciate the amount of sound and tone that they produce. I sold all of my Markbass gear after hearing the PJB C4 sound. Prior to selling my Markbass LM3 I tried it with the C4's and the LM3 sounded stunning a different amp to the one that I'd been using with a couple of Markbass NY121 cabs. The PJB gear is light, loud and has tonnes of tone - just my opinion anyway Quote
