Squier Bullet Bass

I'd never heard of these before today...is apparently a late 80s Japanese made Squier bass - features a mix of the p-bass body and pickups, but with a tele neck.



Does anyone have any experience with them?

If I can find one cheap, I'm thinking even it doesn't play too well I can use the neck for a future Matt Sharp-style bass.

I think I know about three facts about bullet basses:

[*]The pickup is the same as a mustang bass.
[*]Apart from the Squier version there was also a fender version
[*]It was available in short & long scale (I think )

I was. They're rare. It hasn't even hit 3 figures yet!
