My first paid gigs were back in the 70s with my Dad's band covering Everly Brothers numbers like Cathy's Clown, and All I Have to Do is Dream. Dad died a couple of years ago so very poignant for me. Dingus Posted January 4, 2014 Share Posted January 4, 2014 Those classic Everly Brothers records still sound great today, but back when they came out they must have sounded amazing. No wonder then that the Everly Brothers have become one of the most influential acts in the history of rock and roll, considering the effect they had on the generations of musicians that came after them.
