I have now had a look at the profile settings thing, and I see there is a setting to disallow anyone from leaving comments. So I have now selected this option. I don't like the idea of comments in my own profile somehow. Seems a bit too 'Twittery' to me. Any old troll or stalker could start leaving comments. Although that does seem unlikely I'll grant you, since nobody seems aware of this function!
