String and soft bag advice

Hi,

Just bought a second hand Fender Precision Highway One - currently fitted with some 45-105 Fender Nickels in need of desperate replacing.

Any advice on what strings - I want an all-round rock / blues / classic sound

Don't fancy flats so roundwound advice.

Also the soft bag that came is falling apart so any advice on those welcome.

In terms of strings, you'll get several different answers from the posters on here...IMO you can't really go wrong with either Elites or Rotosounds stainless steels.

In terms of a "soft bag" (gig bag?), a Ritter or one of the Warwick bags should do the trick for you.
